Pace University honors the commitment and sacrifices our brave soldiers demonstrate during times of crisis and is firmly committed to assisting veteran students in pursuing higher education. Veterans, active-duty, and reserve service members who want to earn their undergraduate degree all benefit from the following robust support and comprehensive services. 

Benefit highlights:

  • You may be eligible to have your tuition and fees covered through the Post-9/11 GI Bill® if you qualify for education benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Pace’s Veteran Tuition Scholarship for eligible student veterans provides a 50 percent tuition scholarship to cover half of the fall and spring semesters’ tuition costs
  • Additional coverage for out-of-pocket tuition and fees after financial aid for eligible U.S. veterans as part of Pace’s unlimited Yellow Ribbon Program  
  • Further needs-based financial aid from Pace, including merit-based scholarships, institutional grants, and federal work study
  • A specialized Veteran Services Team to assist veterans, active duty, reserve personnel, and dependents in advancing their careers through higher education
  • Priority class registration, with new veteran students having access to a first-year veteran transition course
  • Assistance and support from the counseling center and other Pace staff trained to work with veteran students
  • Accelerated Admission Days for veteran, reservist, and active duty military applicants
  • The Pace Student Veterans Association (SVA) is a nationally recognized Student Veterans of America organization with active chapters at our New York City and Westchester campuses
  • Customized career counseling focused on internships and jobs, through specialized support to translate military skills to civilian resumes
  • Access to a range of perks, benefits, and opportunities available exclusively to our alumni 
  • No application fee when you indicate your veteran status on our application form
  • Choose from 100 undergraduate majors and minors spread across six schools and colleges
  • Two exciting campuses with one-of-a-kind experiences in the heart of downtown New York City or Westchester County
