Make a difference for people with communication disorders with a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pace University’s College of Health Professions. Our speech therapy master’s program provides the guidance, support, and resources you need to excel in the speech-language pathology PRAXIS examination, earn ASHA certification, and succeed in your career.
Program highlights:
- Start in the Fall and earn your degree within five semesters through 60 credits of academic and clinical coursework and 400 hours of clinical practicum.
- Receive hands-on education and training from licensed and certified speech language pathologists.
- Be eligible for American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification, and be prepared to sit for the PRAXIS examination in speech-language pathology and other local and state credentials.
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment at our Speech and Hearing Center, audiology test suite, and technology-rich speech lab.
- Conduct practice in individual and group treatment spaces, as well as telehealth “Zoom Rooms.”
- Prepare for success in specialized, high-demand fields like speech-language pathology (SLP) and audiology.
- Accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
On Campus Clinical Opportunities
Students have access to Pace and CSD facilities, which include an on-site Speech and Hearing Center, audiology test suite, and speech lab with state-of-the-art equipment.
